Paris is
brimming with French boulangeries (bakeries) offering amazing pastries.
Everytime I pass by one of them, it is so difficult to resist not buying a pain
au chocolat or tarte aux framboises. Well, I am sure, you will have a chance to
buy them once you are in Paris. But today I would like to share with you a
recipe of a tarte au chocolat that I cooked for my friends’ party and we just
adored it! So, here it is.
All you need
is sugar crust pastry (I bought it already done to save time), 200 ml of cream,
200 g of chocolate and a few strawberries for decoration.
- Bake sugar crust pastry for 15-20 min
- Meanwhile, for the filling, bring the cream slowly to the boil in a pan.
- Break the chocolate into pieces and place into a large bowl. Pour over the cream and whisk slowly until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture into the tart case and leave to cool. Place in the fridge to set for two hours.
- I advise you to decorate the tart with strawberries before serving.
Bon appetit!
